Synphony (YC P26) is a well-funded (a16z, YC, Zoom) robotics startup building data multiplication and pipeline infrastructure for large-scale robotics clients. They came to me before any brand existed—no name recognition, no visual identity, no product language.

The goal was clear: make it feel credible, technical, and distinct in a space crowded with generic deep-tech aesthetics.

The constraint became the concept. Working from the name "Synphony," I grounded the entire identity in audio as metaphor—a natural fit for a company whose core product is about amplification and variation of data. The logo was derived from a harp silhouette, abstract enough to read as a mark, specific enough to carry the reference.

That same logic extended into product naming. Their white-glove data pipeline service became the Crescendo Pipeline. Their core data multiplication algorithm became Forte—the technical sauce of the company, named for musical intensity.

The result: a complete brand identity, marketing website, and CMS backend, delivered in under ten hours, outcompeting established design firms who had bid on the same project.

Space Grotesk became the font of choice, keeping the sharp lines and rounded edges of conventional tech-startup design, while being a nod to the mono fonts used in code terminals.

Hot orange was meant to instantly jump out to the eye, constraints common tech colors of blue and black, while being an ode to the LiDAR visualization in many embodied intelligence use cases.

Micro-animations across the site add life to the digital piece—an analogy for robotics being "life" powered by the digital world. The logo was engineered to blink, nodding to the video processing side of the platform and embodied intelligence as a whole.

The site's call-to-action funneled prospective clients and investors through an adaptive form, collecting actionable information for further target acquisition. The form wrapped up the site build, bringing explicit utility to a primarily visual representation of Synphony and their mission: robotic intelligence accelerated.
